Paul is assimilating further and further here into Western's Philosophy Department, attending beer centric Wednesday night discussions regularly at the brewery, going to their staff meetings, playing basketball at lunch with them, etc. If his administrative gig goes south, he may find a way to finagle a landing spot doing a little teaching there... but, who knows?
I am no longer working, just chained to my desk doing an instant repeat of last spring. Boards are May 22-24th. I return to work in early June. I broke away to a pilates class this afternoon and stopped at a cute gifty store for some quick retail therapy and lo and behold -- found this:
It is possibly the cutest stuff ever. It is biodegradable and you can also reuse it. It just sticks and resticks. Like a post it. But, stronger. I couldn't control myself and bought about 5 rolls. I am planning to decorate my office with it because it can hold things I am intending to memorize. Hopefully I won't just stare at the tape.
Oh, and the boob met her new veterinarian this week! Very sweet lady. She weighed in at 6.5 lbs. (The boob, not the vet.) We thought it was so weird because last year she weighed ~ 8 lbs, and she looks exactly the same. Then we realized... the leg -- it probably weighed a pound or so! So, now she is just a 6 pounder, but full of piss and vinegar as usual.
Hope you are all doing well!! Is the sun coming out yet? Has it snowed again?
Anyone want to take a trip in August?
....Halifax, Nova Scotia perhaps... Or Vancouver Island... Glacier Nat'l Park...
